General Scenario:

The participant in this exercise is Terry Orwin, the new Restaurant Manager for the Buffet and Banquet in Tampa, Fl. The participant was assigned to a different Buffet and Banquet before assuming responsibility for this site, the original Buffet and Banquet (one of 10 restaurants in the family-owned chain). Orwin has inherited a problem with employee Pat O'Neill, one of the restaurant's more experienced Buffet Services Supervisors. The participant is to meet with O'Neill to discuss performance and development issues. Today is Wednesday, April 4.
